Carbon reporting: as essential as financial reporting?

“In the future I expect a company’s carbon statement to be as prominent as its financial statement,” Ian Pearson, Environment and Climate Change Minister declared at the Commission on Sustainable Development in New York, which concluded today (11 May).

Businesses are being urged to report on their carbon footprints in a new government supported report, the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).
