The progress of the proposed Private Security Industry Act took another twist as it emerged that IT contractors who advise on IT security may be caught under the provisions of the Act.MPs rejected a last-minute amendment that would have exempted IT professionals from rules designed to solve problems with rogue wheel-clampers, bouncers and security guards.
