The Health and Safety Commission has published proposals to amend the current Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995 (RIDDOR) so that all workplace accidents would need to be investigated by employers. This was predicted in Facilities Management Legal Update back in January 2001. The new duties will doubtless have a significant effect on health and safety management.
