“There is a real problem with excessive risk aversion in Britain today” according to Alan Beith MP, Chairman of the Constitutional Affairs Committee. This problem, he says, will only be solved by addressing “the root causes of excessive risk aversion, such as misunderstanding of risk assessment”.
