Three out of five food premises are posing a high risk to public health because of poor hygiene standards and a failure to comply with food safety regulations, a new survey has found.
The survey, by food safety consultancy Shieldyourself, found that many businesses are failing to fully adhere to the new HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles required by law since January 2006.
