The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) has published advice aimed at small and medium sized firms (SMEs) to help them deal with requests from individuals for access to information held about them by the organisation.
The guidance has been issued by the ICO as part of a series guidance notes aimed at making data protection simpler to understand; it provides a simple checklist to help businesses deal with subject access requests.
