Adcock and ors v. Coors Brewers Ltd - CA - Deductions from wages
A claim for unlawful deduction of wages is limited to where there is a specific sum, i.e. where the amount in dispute can be identified or calculated by reference to a formula.
Where the amount in dispute cannot be quantified the claim should be brought as a breach of contract claim, in the county court, or if the individual is no longer employed, in the tribunal.
