The Government has now published its Borders Bill which aims to build stronger borders, tackle organised crime and remove incentives for illegal immigrants to come to Britain.
One of the Bills proposals will mean that non-EEA foreign nationals living in Britain will have to have a biometric ID to prove that they are eligible to work. Something which should make it easier for employers to determine whether someone is legally allowed to work or not..
