Guidance published on construction electrical safety

A new guide aimed at the construction industry, which focuses on electrical safety, has been published in response to a number of deaths and major injuries involving electricians on construction sites.

The guide has been produced by the Electrical Safety Council (ESC) in collaboration with the HSE and is a summary guide on safe isolation practices, aiming to remind contractors of their legal responsibilities in relation to safe electrical working practice on construction sites.
