The HSE has served a Prohibition Notice on Falcon Crane Hire Ltd of Shipdam, Norfolk following the collapse of two of the company’s tower cranes in less than four months at sites in Battersea and Liverpool.
As Workplace Law previously reported, on 26 September 2006 a 165ft crane on a building site close to Battersea power station collapsed onto the end of a row of shops and flats.
