The EAT has held that an employer did not commit an act of sex discrimination by dismissing an employee because of his jealousy on discovering that she was having an affair.
The Appellant was a male solicitor who had an intimate relationship with the Respondent, his personal assistant. He dismissed her after he saw her with another man.
