Jim Fitzpatrick, Employment Minister, has today (11 January) announced the Government's proposals to increase workers' holiday entitlement from 20 days per year to 28.
Some employers currently include the UK’s eight bank holidays as part of workers' 20-day annual leave entitlement (pro-rata for part-timers). As Workplace Law previously reported, the Government announced in June last year that it intended to legislate to make this illegal.
