An investigation into what caused a chemical leak that injured 37 people at a factory could take several weeks, it has been claimed.
As Workplace Law reported last week (4 January), 37 employees were injured at a BASF plant in Teeside when the substance hexamethylene diamine was involved in a leak.
Many of the employees were taken to hospital suffering from burns and irritation to the skin, as well as breathing difficulties.
