Should employers do more to support carers?

To mark Carers Rights Day today (8 December) employers are being urged to do more to help the growing number of employees who have to juggle work with caring for a relative or friend.

According to the charity Carers UK, many of the UK’s six million carers are not receiving the benefits or help they are entitled to - or receiving the flexibility they need from employers.
