Age discrimination challenge referred to EU court

Yesterday (6 December) retirement group Heyday took the Government to the High Court over the issue of Mandatory Retirement Ages (MRAs) contained in the Employment Equality (Age) Regulations 2006.

The challenge has now been referred to the European Court of Justice (ECJ).
