Firms are being warned not to get complacent over the risk of injury to workers and customers from slippery ice and snow.
According to Norwich Union slips and trips arising from snow and ice remained a frequent cause of insurance claims, and although such incidents were often quite minor, occasionally people would suffer serious injuries.
