New guidance to help public bodies meet Disability Equality Duty

The Disability Rights Commission (DRC) has produced detailed guidance on the Disability Equality Duty (DED) which comes into force 4 December 2006.

The DED is a new duty aimed at promoting disability equality across the public sector.
