What ever happened to Bird Flu?

At the beginning of the year the threat that Bird Flu could develop into a global pandemic was being reported everywhere, with the Department of Health forecasting that as many as half of Britain’s 60 million population could be infected if there was a global flu pandemic. As we draw close to the end of the year have businesses listened to the warnings and prepared or has Bird Flu been forgotten about?
