Network Rail is facing the prospect of an unlimited fine after it pleaded guilty today (31 October) to health and safety charges in relation to the Ladbroke Grove train crash.
The crash left 31 dead and 400 injured when a First Great Western Train crashed into a Thames Train's train at the height of the morning rush hour on 5 October 1999.
