Union plans action to force company to improve its health and safety

Two recent incidents in which employees at the same firm lost fingers in separate accidents has led the GMB to organise a mass meeting of it members in order to force the company involved to improve its health and safety.

The aim of the meeting, taking place on 9 September, is to force Katsouris Fresh Foods to improve safety at three of its London factories. The meeting is likely to include demonstrations outside major high street stores, such as Tesco, Marks and Spencer, Sainsbury and Wai... (246 more words)
