The Federation of Private Business (FPB) has claimed that Government plans to increase employees’ holiday entitlement to 28 days will have a negative effect on business.
As Workplace Law previously reported, a consultation on the proposed changes opened in June and will end 22 September. The Government proposes to phase in the additional leave starting with an increase from 20 to 24 days (pro rata for part-time workers) from 1 October 2007.
