The Forum of Private Business (FPB) has called proposals to hand out penalties to firms in breach of regulations, a backward step.
The Macrory Review, which ends its first consultation period on Friday (18 August), is looking into the reform of regulatory sanctioning regimes, with the final report expected later this year.
