A verdict is expected in the next few days in the trial for manslaughter of a council-employed architect Gillian Beckingham.
Summing up is concluding today, with the jury likely to be sent out on Thursday to consider their verdict.
Beckingham denies the charges, which follow a legionella outbreak in 2002 that led to the deaths of seven people. The outbreak started after deadly bacteria sprayed from Barrow Council’s Forum 28 building’s air conditioning system.
