The trial of architect Gillian Beckingham is drawing to a close, with the jury now expected to retire shortly to consider their verdict on seven counts of manslaughter and one health and safety offence. Last week the trial was adjourned early for the day after the jury said the hot weather made it impossible for them to concentrate.
