Businesses have said they are prepared to pay more to achieve “greener buildings”, new research by the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) and property adviser GVA Grimley has found.
The survey of employers from across the UK found that 75% of firms are willing to pay more in the form of higher service charges and rent to occupy premises that are environmentally friendly and energy efficient.
