Nearly half of the UK’s larger companies could be abusing employee’s human rights because they have inadequate email monitoring practices.
In security provider Proofpoint’s annual investigation into email practices, it was found that 38% of larger businesses employ a ‘corporate snoop’ to read staff’s email. Sixty per cent also conduct regular audits of outbound email.
