SIA announces changes to Private Security Industry Act

The Security Industry Authority (SIA) has announced changes made by the Government to Schedule 2 of the Private Security Industry Act 2001 (PSIA). The changes made under the Private Security Industry Act (Amendments to Schedule 2) Order 2006 take effect immediately.

The Amendments remove the requirement for some operatives to be licensed under the PSIA.
