The Forum of Private Business (FPB) has called for a rethink to planned regulations that it claims would see businesses forced to carry the health and safety burden whenever they contracted work on their buildings.
The FPB claims that the Health and Safety Commission (HSC) is seeking to "pass the buck" onto businesses under planned changes to the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM).
