It has been reported that companies which are ‘named and shamed’ in the HSE’s prosecutions and notices databases will no longer have their records wiped after five years.
A HSE inspector has the power to order a company to make health and safety improvements by issuing them with a notice, it also has the power to prosecute a company if it feels that this is necessary.
