New standard for 'information destruction'

A new British Standard for the destruction of confidential material will herald a "new era" for secure shredding in the UK, it was claimed this week.

The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) said the standard would provide customers with further confidence that their information destruction company works to the highest of standards.
