A man has launched a legal battle against bus company Stagecoach claiming he was denied a job because he has arthritis.
David Waterworth, who has rheumatoid arthritis, applied for a trainee driver’s job last year after his stepson landed a job at the company’s Wheatsheaf depot.
He was turned down, despite holding a provisional licence to drive a bus.
After complaining to the firm Stagecoach claimed his letter had been placed on the wrong pile of applications by mistake, and ... (240 more words)
