Research by law firm Osborne Clarke suggests that nearly one third (30%) of businesses are not convinced that the new TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment)) Regulations 2006 will actually clarify the existing rules. The new regulations have now been laid before Parliament and will come into force on 6 April 2006. They will bring in changes for employers, outsourcers and service providers alike.
