A third of British businesses want Valentine’s Cards banned from the workplace rather than face the risk of potential sexual harassment claims.
Such are the threats posed by cards – such as the use of explicit material or the possibility that staff are offended by unwanted attention – that bosses would prefer to see them banned altogether.
And if the cards were to lead to something more, a nine out of ten believe that office relationships are bad news for business.
