More than half of Britain's businesses have been victims of crime in the last year - but more than a third believe that reporting crimes to the police "will achieve nothing".
A survey of the FSB's 185,000 members found that 58 per cent have suffered at least one crime during the last year. The most frequent crimes are vandalism (27 per cent), vehicle damage (25 per cent) and burglary (14 per cent)
