It may be three decades since the introduction of the Sex Discrimination Act, but British women are being warned that they could have to wait another 200 years to become as powerful as men.
New figures released by the Equal Opportunity Commission (EOC) in the report "Sex and Power: Who Runs Britain? 2006" suggest equality between men and women will take:
20 years in the top management of the civil service
40 years at the director level of FTSE 100 companies
