The Commission for Racial Equality (CRE) has published its Code of Practice on Racial Equality in Employment – a toolkit to eliminate racism at work. The guide follows a three month consultation with a wide spectrum of employers across Britain.
The revised code of practice is a statutory document that will be admissible in evidence in employment tribunal findings. It will come into force on 6 April 2006, until then the current code will still apply.
