According to the HSE, falls from height are the number one cause of workplace deaths in the UK and one of the main causes of major injury in the workplace. Almost a third of all falls at work are from ladders. Last year 13 people died from falls while working on a ladder, and over 1200 people suffered major injuries.
Starting this week [14 November] the HSE are running a series of events around the country to encourage employers and employees to look at how they use ladders in the workplace... (96 more words)
