24hr drinking to put workers’ hearing at risk

More than half a million people risk permanent hearing damage by working in dangerously noisy conditions, campaigners have warned.

The warning came at the start of European Week for Safety and Health at Work. As previously reported by Workplace Law, this year it concentrates on noise in the workplace.
