An awareness drive warning of the dangers of identity fraud was launched on Monday [17 October] by a group of public and private sector partners, including the Metropolitan Police, Crimestoppers and CIFAS.
National Identity Fraud Prevention Week, will run from the 17 – 23 October, and aims to educate the general public and businesses that they could, and should, be doing more to protect themselves from becoming victims of identity fraud.
