Temporary Workers Directive to be scrapped

The European Commission plan to scrap the draft Temporary Workers Directive (TWD) which would have ensured temporary staff enjoyed the same conditions as permanent workers.

The TWD is just one of the draft directives earmarked by the European Commission for scrapping in a bid to cut red tape.
