The Communications Workers Union (CWU) has contributed to the HSC's current review of RIDDOR by calling for major changes to the reporting system and stiffer enforcement of the regulations.
The Union's National Health and Safety Officer Dave Joyce said
"Currently the Regulations are both confusing and have some glaring omissions, particularly in respect of having no references to the notification of Accidents to Safety Representatives and the lack of any requirement to provide vital... (104 more words)
