The Employment Tribunals Service has published its annual report for the period April 2004 to March 2005 which shows a 25% drop in claims.
There was a total of 86,181 claims registered compared with 115,042 the previous year. The report explains this by pointing to an unusually high number of multiple cases last year which interrupted a gradual decrease in tribunal claims over the last few years.
