The Equality Bill gets its second reading in the House of Lords today. As well as a number of revisions to the law, the bill will establish a new Commission for Equality and Human Rights (CEHR).
The Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) supports the Equality Bill, and says it welcomes the inclusion of measures which will outlaw discrimination in goods, facilities and services on grounds of religion or belief.
