The uncertainties which have surrounded what constitutes sexual harassment are set for resolution later this year, following the introduction into UK law of a new statutory definition.
Unlike the Race Relations Act or indeed the legislation on unlawful discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation, religion and belief, the Sex Discrimination Act does not currently contain a specific definition of sexual harassment.
