The Government has confirmed plans to scrap the Commission for Racial Equality (CRE), the Disability Rights Commission (DRC) and the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) and replace them with a single entity, the Commission for Equality and Human Rights (CEHR).
Tuesday's Queen's Speech included an announcement about the reintroduction of the Equality Bill – which will lead to the creation of the new CEHR, which replaces the CRE, DRC and EOC.
