The series of measures announced in the Queen’s opening of Parliament speech yesterday, which included 45 bills and five draft bills, has been met with a varied response. Although there were no real surprises in the speech, business leaders have expressed mixed views on the planned measures.
The Speech contained a number of Bills that will benefit businesses and improve the infrastructure on which business relies, the Institute of Directors (IoD) said.
