Employers yesterday called on all political parties to vote to maintain the UK's opt-out of the EU Working Time Directive.
Research by the Institute of Directors (IoD) reinforces the importance of the opt-out, finding that over 40% of UK employers make use of the provision.
In an open letter to UK politicians, Miles Templeman, Director General of the IoD said:
