The main political parties outlined their policies on banning smoking in workplaces and public venues during a debate hosted by the London think-tank the King’s Fund.
The King’s Fund highlighted six major health challenges which the next government will face, one of which is a significant public health challenge from the rising tide of obesity, as well as increased problems of drug and alcohol abuse.
