The Government made the decision last year to restrict the flow of new employment law, by allocating just two dates in the year when new pieces of legislation will be introduced – arguably enabling employers to more easily keep abreast of new requirements. Today - 6 April - is the first of those dates. Further changes will be brought in on 1 October.
