Bracknell Fireworks Ltd has been fined a total of £28,000 at Witney Magistrates' Court, Oxfordshire following an inspection at the explosives licensed factory during which several boxes of fireworks containing damaged fireworks that were leaking explosives compostion were found.
The company did not have a safe system of work for dealing with damaged fireworks and had not taken all due precautions for the prevention of an accident by fire or explosion.
